She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jimmy Clifton Portwood and Frances Hartzog Portwood; her husband Max Helms; her daughters, Janet Evans Ariton (Lee), Lisa Fisher (Blue Springs) and Jennifer Casteel (Blue Springs); her brother LaDon Portwood (Diane); and her grandchildren, Nash Evans, Austin Evans, Avery Evans, Ethan Fisher, Emma Fisher, Katherine Fisher, Novalee Casteel and Cody Casteel.
