He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Henry Covington and Lucille Freeman Covington; his wife Polly Kirkland Covington; his children, Wendi Fields (Frank) and Michael Covington (Robyn); his grandchildren, Jordan Fields, Drew Fields, Jason Nunnery and Thomas Nunnery; his sisters-in-law, Sara Roland and Margaret Kirkland Bowden; and also, Deerpoint Lake, Sam Freeman (Betty) and Martha Jenkins (Glenn).
