She was predeceased by: her father Johnnie Ellis; and her husband Marcus Strickland. She is survived by: her children, Marcus Lafett Strickland II (Tamara) of Clayton, Lisa Strickland Finlayson (Allen) of Eufaula, Donna Sue Floyd of Louisville and Sandra Kellet of Athens, Georgia; her siblings, Dennis Hartzog (Jane) of Middleburg, Florida and Rhydona Skinner (Shelby) of Abbeville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Mark Warren Strickland, Nathan David Strickland, Al Finlayson, Andrew Finlayson (Catherine), Blaire Finlayson, Maggie Kellet and Annie Kellet; and her great grandchild Charlotte Finlayson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
