He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Albert McCoy and Georgia Pearl Arnold McCoy; his wife Florence Meister McCoy; and his brothers, Floyd McCoy, Robert W. McCoy and Louie McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas L. McCoy (Laurie), Timothy J. McCoy (Charlotte McCullough) and Cynthia McCoy Bobbitt (Steven); his brothers, Harold McCoy (Lois) of Abbeville and Billy McCoy (Libby) of Abbeville; his sisters-in-law, Dot McCoy Long, Diane McCoy Edwards and Joyce McCoy; his grandchildren, Amber Saunders (Clay), Ashliegh Hamilton (Ryan) and Andrew Bobbitt; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Ella Hamilton, Emily Pearl Saunders, Tucker Wayne Saunders, Fitzgerald Scott Hamilton and Truman August Hamilton.
