He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Guy Murphy, Jr.; his grandparents, John Hill Berry, Martha Berry, Guy Murphy, Sr. and Verdell Murphy; his close friend Mary Reil; his sons, Mark Murphy (Christy), Jarrod Murphy (Katie) of Baker, FL, Heath Murphy (Anna) of Taylor, AL and Dale Murphy (Sarah Nelson) of Lynn Haven, FL; his mother Janie Sue Berry Murphy; his brother John P. Murphy of Fountain, FL; his grandchildren, Justin Murphy, Brannon Murphy, Pacey Murphy and McConnell Murphy; his nieces, Hailee Murphy and Summer Ketchum; and his nephew Christopher Ketchum.
