He is survived by: his wife Jenita Ward Wilkinson; his daughter Brittany Joyner (Michael); his siblings, Marilyn Matinestz (Maurice), William Wilkinson (Betty Jean) and David Wilkinson (Cherry); his grandsons, John Joyner and Joshua Joyner; his father-in-law Reverend James Earl Ward, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Reverend James E. "Buddy" Ward, Jr. (Charlene).
