It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mims of Abbeville, Alabama, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orlando Mims and Elma Smith Mims; his daughter Laurie Lisenby; and his siblings, Judy Hendley, Ronnie Mims and Eddie Mims.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ethridge Mims; his son Kirt Mims; his stepsons, Robby Blalock (Jeanette) and Danny Blalock (Estelle); his brother-in-law Don Hendley; his grandchildren, Allison and Dillon; and his stepgrandchildren, Trey, Daniel and David. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, many extended family members and friends.
