He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett William McAllister and Eva May Peterson McAllister; and his sister Benita M. Smith. He is survived by: his stepgrandmother Jewell Powell McAllister; his wife Louise Jones McAllister of Abbeville, AL; his daughters, Beth Melling (David) of Prattville, AL and Patricia McCalla (Yancey) of Abbeville, AL; his brother Tom McAllister (JoAnn) of Tucker, GA; his grandchildren, Madeline, Harrison and Gracelyn; his stepgrandson Caleb McCalla (Ru); and his stepgreat-grandchild Kaia Simpson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
