She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Yance Strickland and Hassie Mae Gamble Strickland; her husband Horace Hancock; her children, Louise Hancock "Sissy" Hall and Bruce Hancock; her granddaughter Sharon Elizabeth Hall; and her brothers, Charles Wesley Strickland and Thomas Hugh Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughter Annette Hancock (Charlene Self); her children-in-law, Brenda Hancock and Tommy Allen Hall; her sister-in-law Voncile Strickland; her grandchildren, Lee Hancock (Amber), Craig Hall (Christy) and Kelli Haygood (Blane); and her great grandchildren, Preston Hancock, Kaileb Hall and Brently Hancock.
In consideration of community health and public safety due to the COVID-19 Virus, a graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 4:00 P. M. Wednesday, May 6, 2020, in the Old Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Preston officiating.
