Martha Baxter Raley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 96, Martha Baxter Raley (Abbeville, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Terrance Moran Baxter, Sr. and Annie Genie Avant Baxter; her husband Harold Edward "Pat" Raley, Sr.; and her siblings, Jim Baxter, Franklin Baxter, Moran Baxter, Betty Fairchild, Louise Carswell and Leah Durkee.
She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Raley Laseter of Kinsey, Jo Anne Raley Decker (Charles) of Kinsey and Harold E. Raley, Jr. (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Shea Calhoun (Jason), Hal Raley, III, Chris Raley (Lisa), Allison Raley Williams (Jay), John Laseter (Amanda), Rachel Exum, Reverend Joel Laseter (KrisAnn), Corey Decker and Patricia Decker.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kinsey Baptist Church (6745 Walden Dr, Kinsey, AL 36303). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gardens (6200 US-431, Headland, AL 36345).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsey Baptist Church, 6745 Walden Drive, Kinsey, AL 36303.
