He was predeceased by: his wife Vallie W. Durr; his son Dr. Fredrick Durr; and his siblings, Richard Durr, John Durr, Dan Durr, Robbie C. Durr, Annie Rutherford, Maudrie Helms and Lottie Smith.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kiera Durr Newsome (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Mamie Vaughn (Herbert) of Abbeville, Mabel Carter, Rebecca Fleming (Nathaniel), Barbara Hardman, Gloria Baldwin of Dothan, AL, Catherine Flemings of Orlando, FL, Ester Hankerson Upper (William) of Marlboro, MD, Jeannette Mills (Arnold) of Cumberland, MD, Phyllis Roberson, Loretta Turner, Willie J. Durr (Roshell) of Newville, AL, Robby Durr (Diane) of Cleveland and Dwyane West of Jacksonville, FL; and his friends, Sherman Peterman, Jackie Cupe and Willie Green. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
