It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Bowden of Abbeville, Alabama, who passed away on December 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Eska Eason and Vida Legrett Tankersley Eason; and her siblings, Andrew Donald Eason and Myrna Eason. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Loyd Bowden; her sons, Hosea Lee Kirkland and John Taylor Kirkland (Vera); her stepdaughters, Shirlene Vickers (Joe Vickers) and Reverend Anita Brown (Greg Brown); her sisters, Delia Eason Sheppard (Joe) and Doris Eason Welch Farris (Dave); her sister-in-law Betty Eason of Goodwater, AL; her brother John Thomas Eason (Gail); her grandson Christopher Allen Kirkland (Brittany); her stepgrandchildren, Bruce Brown, Zack Brown (Stephanie), Kaitlin Edwards (Chris) and David Vickers; her great grandchildren, Shaleigh Kirkland, Dwan Kirkland, Brandon Kirkland, Aarian Kirkland and Crimson Kirkland; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Raegan Brown, Easton Brown, Leah Edwards and Lawson Edwards; and her sisters-in-law, Sara Roland of Abbeville and Polly Covington of Abbeville.
Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.
