She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Greene and Sarah Clifford Posey Greene; her daughter Sarah Catherine Smith; and her brother Billy L. Greene. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin J. Smith; her sons, Mark Smith (Maria), Benny Smith (Charla) and Chris Smith (Ellie); her grandchildren, Lauren Dusek (Zac), Markus Smith (Britney), Billy Smith (Claire), Chase Smith (Haley), Jonathon Smith (Nur) and Nick Smith; her great grandchildren, Ali Dusek, Rowan Dusek, Hudson Smith, Martha Kate Smith, Decker Smith, John Bennett Smith and Vera Smith; and her aunt Myrt Posey of Rhode Island.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abbeville Mortuary Chapel (434 Ozark Rd, Abbeville, AL 36310). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery (305 Rock Hill Cir, Abbeville, AL 36310).
