With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Whiddon (Abbeville, Alabama), who passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Cecil Jones and Mavis Cutchen Jones; her children, Joseph Alan Whiddon and Jessie Cecilia Whiddon; and her siblings, Celia Jones, Tim Jones, Joey Jones and Mike Jones.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald L. Whiddon; her daughter Jennifer Whiddon Watson (Lee); and her grandson Turner Lee Watson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Union Springs Baptist Church or Union Springs Baptist Cemetery Fund, c/o Jackie Scott, 4217 State Highway 173, Newville, AL 36353.
