He is survived by: his wife Frances Louise Green Garrett; his children, Mary Bilak, Katherine Garrido, Donald Garrett, Ben Garrett and Gary Garrett; and his siblings, Eleanor Thompson, Rhonda Faye Burgess, Callie Ann Fennell, Peggy Garrett Benton and Harvey Garrett.
