It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jewel Hardwick of Abbeville, Alabama, born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Edgar Wesson and Daisy Mae Stonecypher Wesson; her husband James Clanton Hardwick; her son Christopher Clanton Hardwick; and her siblings, Loretta Wesson, Gertrude Wesson, Bloise Wesson, Edward Wesson and Clifton Wesson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Katrina Blount (Jerry), Vivian Miller (Michael) and Elizabeth Garrett (Ron); her siblings, Virginia Carter (Don) of Wetumpka, AL and Dudley Wesson (Margaret) of Millbrook, AL; her grandchildren, Lindsey Smith, Audrey Bawcum, John-Michael Cook, Katie Sizemore (Rick), Annabeth Kierspe (Chase), Thomas Garrett, III and Rosemary Garrett; her great grandchildren, Jackson Bawcum, Carter Sizemore, Sadie Grace Kiersepe and Wesley Kierspe; and her friend Rossie Money.
