As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Moore and Armetha Moore; and his sisters, Cheyenne Moore Reynolds and Delaney Moore Hill. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Moore (Murry Lee Jr.) of Dothan, Ciara Moore of Dothan, Alabama, James Edward Moore, Jr. of Dothan, Shawn Moore of Dothan, Anthony McKay of Clarksville, Alvin McKay of Abbeville and Reginald Brown; his grandson Keymon McCarter; and his son-in-law Murry Lee, Jr.. He is also survived by six siblings, eighteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt Zion AME Church (2518 AL-51, Louisville, AL 36048).
