He was predeceased by: his parent Hubert W. Taylor; and his grandson Samuel Joshua Taylor. He is survived by: his parent Jewel Savelle Taylor; his wife Sandra Herndon Taylor; his sons, Joshua Taylor (Heather), Jonathan Taylor (Christi) and Chris Whiddon (Megan); his sister Jackie Taylor Scott (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Joshua Rhett Taylor, Jr., Cassidy Taylor, William Rhett Taylor, Finley Whiddon and Addie Whiddon; and also Newville.
