With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary LaDon McArdle (Abbeville, Alabama), born in Jakin, Georgia, who passed away on July 25, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barney McArdle and Glinnie Creel McArdle; his grandson Austin McArdle; and his sisters, Luzetta Edwards and Ruth Whitehead.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Walker McArdle; his daughter Lisa Woody (Barry); his sisters, Ann Harrington and Barbara Anderson; his grandchildren, Loretta, Arrianne, Levi, William, Jonathan, Ava Clara, Grace, Elijah and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Cameron and Lilith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church "Building Fund", c/o Brenda Roberson, 1597 County Road 133, Abbeville, AL 36310.
