It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Anthony Carter (Abbeville, Alabama), who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Irvin Carter; and his grandparents, Irvin, Fauvette Carter, Jerry and Betty Golden.
He is survived by: his daughter Kaleigh Carter; his parents, Irvin Carter and Jerrilyn Golden Carter; and his aunts and uncles, Mary (Johnny Edison), Bobby Carter, Don (Connie Carter), Sue (Jimmy Sharpe), Anita Scoggins (Donnie), Jeff (Denise Golden) and Johnny Scoggins.
In consideration of community health and public safety due to the COVID-19 Virus, funeral services for family and close friends will be held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, April 30, 2020, in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, near Eufaula, with Reverend Clyde Hancock, Jr. and Cliff Townsend officiating.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 130 Pleasant Hill Road, Eufaula, AL 36027.
