She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Claude Alston; her husband Sam Pat Skipper, Jr.; her son Sam Gordon Skipper; and her sisters, Betty Standland and Mozelle Reynolds.
She is survived by: her parent Claudia Allen Alston; her children, Debbie Mobley (Danny), Dana Starling (Philip) and Jeff Skipper (Jody) of Abbeville; her daughter-in-law Barbara Skipper of Ashford; her grandchildren, Joey Skipper (Callie), Whitney DeBord (Tim), Nick Starling and Brad Skipper; and her great grandchildren, Ava Skipper and Cora Kate Skipper.
