She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Slaton Hamilton and Dorothy Stokes Hamilton; her husband Billy Clyde "Bill" Hendley, Sr.; her daughter Lisa Hendley; and her brother Homer L. "Bo" Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Goldman (James) of Greensboro, GA and Bill Hendley, Jr.; her sister-in-law Jo Hamilton of Arlington, TX; her granddaughter Alexa McKeever (Greg); and her great grandchild Sloane Hendley McKeever.
Due to the rise in COVID-19, a private funeral service for family and close friends will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jud Waldrop officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 3800 Colonnade Parkway, No. 140, Birmingham, AL 35243.
