Of Wasilla, AK, formerly of Stevens Point passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 7, 2024 in Alaska.

Age 55. Todd was born June 12, 1968 in Stevens Point. He is the son of Dave "Butch" and Carol (Baran) Ligman of Stevens Point. Todd attended local grade schools, and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout before graduating from Pacelli High School in 1986 and Park College, MO.

He entered the United States Air Force on April 26, 1992 at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. He achieved the rank of Lt. Colonel over his 32-year military career. Todd received the National Defense Service Medal with 1 service star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Nuclear Deterrence Operation Service Medal, AF Overseas Ribbon Long with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, AF Longevity Service Medal with 7 Oak Leaf Clusters, USAF NCO PME graduate Ribbon with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Basic Military Training Honor Graduate Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon (Rifle), AF Training Ribbon Item 14, NSPS Supervisory Training (Leading Change), USAF Medical CBRNE Defense Seminar, Squadron Officers Schools (S0S), Global Medical Readiness Symposium, Air Command and Staff College, and also received the Meritorious Service Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Achievement Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Navy Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters. Todd was honorably discharged in retirement at Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson in Anchorage, AK.

His marriage to Renee Wilson took place August 28, 1998 in Dayton, Ohio. His wife Renee survives.

Todd was Biomedical office manager and Epidemiology Prevention and Infection Control in the Biomedical Laboratory in Wasilla.

In his free time Todd loved the outdoors with hunting and fishing. He also loved playing cards of cribbage and sheepshead, enjoyed Polka music and always supported the Packers and Brewers. He also was a big lover of Lab Dogs and had numerous dogs in his life time.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Todd's name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include wife Renee Ligman, and daughter Kendyl Ligman both of Wasilla, AK., his parents Dave "Butch" and Carol Ligman of Stevens Point, one sister Laurie (Johnny of Stevens Point) Lane of Milwaukee, and three brothers Dennis (Christine) Ligman of Bossier City, LA, AJ (Carie) Ligman of Plover and Patrick (Nikki) Ligman of Plover, two uncles Ron (Rose) Ligman of Plover and Ken (Diane) Ligman of Weston and a great uncle Leonard (Darlene) Kurzynski of Wausau, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was further survived by his mother-in-law Susan Kessinger and a brother-in-law Daniel Wilson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday February 16, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Jeffrey Hennes officiating. Burial with full military honor will be in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Friday morning in the Family Center of St. Joseph Parish. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
