Phyllis Backhaus Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Backhaus (Wasilla, Alaska), born in Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Catherine and Orville Barker; her brother Hawaiian; her husband Dave Dilley; her children, Glenn, Cindy, Rick and Phyllis; her friend Donnie Barnes; her sister Kinkaid Park; her former spouse Russell Backhaus; her daughters, Tammy and Shay; and also Jake. She was also cherished by her brother, her five children and their spouses, ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
