With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Albert Wood (Wasilla, Alaska), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on July 25, 2019 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wood and Marilyn Smith; his aunt Kathleen Abate; and his uncles, Robert and Thomas Filla.
He is survived by: his wife Krista August (King); his son Michael (Abby); his sister Diane Jones (Jerry) of Cottontown, Tennessee; his father-in-law Ron King of Nampa, Idaho; and his sisters-in-law, Delaynia Winchester (John) and Nicole Dodge (Mike) of Nampa, Idaho. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
