She is survived by: her children, Kevin DeGarmo (Andrea), Janice Gittlein (Ken), Jennifer Schaffer (Dan) and Kiyoko Matsuura; her grandchildren, Nick (Katie), Matt, Ben (Haliegh), Sam Gittlein (Alena), Leah (Sean), Ronald DeGarmo, Elise, Brad, Nicole Schaffer and Garett Koskovich; and her great grandchildren, Brian Gittlein (Rachel), Devin, Kaydence, Paxton, Presly, Wyatt, Sebastian, Eleanor, Kelci, Everly, Lucas, Blair and Julian Gittlein.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to Mat-Su Family Promise; Alaska Run for Women or Christ First United Methodist Church in Wasilla.
