Kendall Jay Barrett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kendall Jay Barrett (Sterling, Alaska), born in Burley, Idaho, who passed away on August 14, 2018 at the age of 33. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence Barrett, Velda Barrett, Lola Steele and Frederick Hagelund; his aunt Dorothy Cole; and his niece Erin Clare Smith.

He is survived by: his wife KoryAnn Hooper-Barrett; his daughter Riley-Jay; his stepson Branden; his daughter Madeline (Cassandra Nash); his stepdaughters, Estrella of New Mexico and Anna of New Mexico; his parents, Kevin Barrett of Sterling and Jenny Barrett (Hagelund) of Sterling; and his siblings, Sharon (Jerry), Shana (Jason), Ernest (Olympia), Adam (Danielle), James (Tasheena), Elizabeth "Dolly" (Andrew) and Lillie (Justin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Kendall gave in death just as he gave in life, his final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
