With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Joy of Soldotna, Alaska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leo Michael Joy; his stepmother Rebecca Joy; his mother Ella Edwards Joy; his stepsister Rebecca Schreiner; his brother Bob Joy; his sister-in-law Laurel Baxter; his cousins, Jim Joy and Joy Stoner; and his son-in-law Jerry Sadler.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Leverenz Joy; his daughters, Tricia Sadler, Kimberly Foster, Wendy Milligan (Mark) and Rebecca Carlon (Joshua); his grandchildren, Keenan, Mykenna Foster, Andrew, Jacob, Anna, Karis Lemlem Milligan, Cyrus, Henry and Elena Carlon; his cousin Sharon Hayward; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Sehm (David), Diane Scheerer (George), Kevin Baxter and David Leverenz (Pam). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and family members and friends.
