He is survived by: his children, Bryan Updike of Kenai, Alaska, Kristin Card of Portage, Michigan, Josh Updike of Soldotna, Alaska and Jesse Updike of Kenai, Alaska.; and his grandchildren, Thea, Dani, Cy, Garrett, Emma and Riley.

Memorial donations in Larry's memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the Autism Society of America.
