It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Mae Schwanke-Cooper (Soldotna, Alaska), who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Friessen and Elsie Friessen; her brothers, Donald and James; and her former husbands, Doug Zahrenhusen and Roland Schwanke.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Cooper; her siblings, Dolores Gibbs and Warren Friessen; and her stepchildren, Lisa Hanson, Michelle Peterson, Jenny Cooper Martin, Travis Cooper, Byron Cooper, Lucas Cooper, Tom Cooper, Clint Cooper, Sharon Long, Diana Long and Christina Cramer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and special friends.
