He is survived by: his wife Kim Nim Mosing Medley; his children, Michael David Medley of Soldotna and Amanda Renee Hearn Miller of White Hall; his granddaughter Lauren Ashleigh Thompson of Conway; his daughter Mariah Ann Medley Novela (George) of El Paso; his grandchildren, Benjamin George Novela and Natalia Sofia Novela; and his sister Jennifer Ruth Medley Daniel of White Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association and the American Cancer Society.
