She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Nees and Alice Nees; and her brother Randy Nees. She is survived by: her husband Glen Little; her daughters, Allison Little and Mary Sarr; her grandchildren, Elliese, Emily, Sophie, Ruby Wright, Luka Rose, Amadou and Kine Sarr; her pet Dodge; and her brother Mike Nees.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Nancy's name to benefit Palmer Public Library to rebuild their children's book collection.
