He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Louise Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Paul Barnett of Palmer, AK, Sherry Barnett of Pensacola, FL, Tena Ondeck (Fred) of Bellingham, WA and Adrian Sherman of Portland, OR; and his sisters, JoAnn O'Leary (Barnett) of Norwood, MA and Maxine Metts (Barnett) of Phoenix, AZ.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
