He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Sandvik and Lula Thorstenson Sandvik. He is survived by: his spouse Pam Lutgen-Sandvik; his sister Neola Sandvik Zeijlemaker; his children, Dale Sandvik, Daniel Sandvik, David Sandvik, Kirsten Wood, Karena Sandvik and Cynthia Sandvik; and his stepchildren, Joseph Corbett and Jeannette Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
