He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Steik and Julia Steik; his siblings, Chris, Harry, Carl, Leo, Stanley, Mike, Gladys, Marian, Margaret and Christine; and his wife Peggy Steik.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Grant (Darrel), Suzette Marey and Noelle Hatten (Mike); his siblings, Johnny, Gene, Doris and Shirley (Glen); and his grandchildren, Daniel Reynolds (Diane), Dustin Reynolds, Aladean Marey, Cyle Williams, Dalton Hatten, Darek Hatten, Adrienne Gardner (Neil), Amirah Nichols (Kiel) and Lyla DeTavernier (Joshua). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
