Barbara Mathilda (Ziglinski) VanEyck Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mathilda (Ziglinski) VanEyck (North Pole, Alaska), born in Gleason, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends.
With a sad heart and an unexpected passing :
Barbara Mathilda Ziglinski VanEyck left this world on September 1st, 2024 due to complications. She was 75 years old and lived in North Pole, Alaska.
She is foremost "Mom", an Avid Packers fan, and she loved picking berries throughout her life.
Barb was one of eight kids that were born to George and Mathilda Ziglinski in Langlade County at Route 3 Gleason, Wisconsin.
She graduated from Antigo High in 1967 in Antigo, Wisconsin.
After Graduation, she lived and worked in Chicago at Motorola for a few years. She also welcomed her son Kevin into the world.
She met John Raymond VanEyck and they married on June 22, 1974. They welcomed two sons Jeff and Cory into their lives along with stepsons Scott and Rick.
They packed up their belongings and trekked to Alaska. On September 10, 1981, they arrived in Tok and the next day moved to Delta Junction, then eventually moved to North Pole in 1989. Jack passed in 1996 from cancer.
She is survived by her Children; Kevin, Jeff and Cory and sister Lauranne. Also grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Siblings preceeding her in death were Leonard, Katherine, Erma, Albert (Joe), Peter, and Nedra.
She passed too soon and will forever be loved and missed.
