He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley "Jan" Lawson; and his daughter Winnie Lou Lawson Tirmenstein. He is survived by: his children, Kelly J. Lawson of Kenai and Frederick Lawson of Soldotna; his granddaughter Sara Tirmenstein of Soldotna; his great grandchild Kyleigh Gaffney of Soldotna; his daughter Angie Sawzak (Brant); his sister Susie Scott (Ron); his niece Katy Wade; his aunt Billie Gregory; and also Ron Gregory (Colleen) of California.
