She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merrill Truman and Eunice Truman; her husband Herbert Hemmes; and her children, James Hemmes (Cyndi), Daniel Hemmes (Mary), Elaine Bakk (Dale) and Rebecca Bakk (Don). She was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren and their spouses; and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
