She was predeceased by: her parents, Anita Byers and Eldon Byers; and her brothers, Randy Byers and John Byers. She is survived by: her sons, Karl Appel (Jennifer) of Seward, AK and Steven Appel of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren, Brooke Appel of Wasilla, AK, Braden Appel of Seward, AK, Briley Appel of Seward, AK, Bryce Appel of Seward and Zoe Appel.
