With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Ann Shook of Kenai, Alaska, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Borgen and Ester Borgen; and her brother David. She is survived by: her husband Vern Shook; her children, Celest Engelbarts, Kelly Gschwend, Andrew and Amanda Shook; her grandchildren, Anthony, Deb Engelbarts, Krista Engelbarts, Shane Lyons, Amber, Cody Lundholm, Katie Engelbarts, Sarah Gschwend, Megan Gschwend, Aaron Gschwend, Jaxon Shook and Leighton Shook; her great grandchildren, Addison, Kinely, Joey, Thomas, Xavier and Miah; and her siblings, Butch Borgen, Bob Borgen, Richard, Carolyn Borgen, Bill Borgen and Barbara Cooper. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved being with her friends.
