It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerrit William Plate of Juneau, Alaska, born in Twin Valley, Minnesota, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Plate and Amelia Plate; his wife Eileen; his son Duane Plate (Glenda) of Florida; his sister Alberta Plate of Lopez; his granddaughter Remy Plate of Kennewick; and his nephew Lucas Franco of Minnesota. He was also cherished by numerous cousins and extended family.
Due to Covid, no services are scheduled at this time. A private family graveside service will be held when the pandemic subsides.
