With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Melanie Pedersen (Juneau, Alaska), born in Missoula, Montana, who passed away on January 8, 2019 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Iris Pedersen and George Pedersen; her children, Gustavus and Xavier (Amanda); her granddaughter Ember; her brothers, Chris and Bill; her nephews, Ben and Joey; and her godchildren, Elise Christy and Ashlee Hamilton. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
She was a huge advocate for organ donation and was quoted as saying, "I never forgot that without my wonderful and generous donor, I would have died at 25." Dawn loved to travel.
