With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ammons Worthington (Juneau, Alaska), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Worthington; and her son Charles Worthington. She is survived by: her children, Maude Worthington and Peter; her daughter-in-law Patricia Worthington; her daughter Julia; her son-in-law Edward Scott Martin of Eagle River; her grandchildren, Hans Worthington (Kimberly), Morgan Worthington (Hannah), Cassidy Hanson (Chuck) and Beth Martin; and her great grandchild Nora Austin.
The family asks that donations be made to one of the following in lieu of flowers: Wounded Warrior Project, Eagle River Food Bank, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or the Nature Conservancy.
