He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nellie Vera Jones Pleasant and Samuel Pleasant Sr.; his brother Samuel Pleasant Junior; his child Bennie Lavell Drummer; his grandchildren, Treyvone Drummer, Bella Ann Drummer, Jayceon Drummer, Madison Pleasant, Mason Sweeney of North Carolina, Lamar, Taniah, La'nya and La'shay; and his siblings, Alline Wishington, Barbara Tanner (David), Nancy Hall (Kirk), Norma Pleasant, Larries Pleasant (Shelly), Freddie Pleasant (Joyce) and Carmelvin Pleasant. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
