With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Meeker (Homer, Alaska), born in Larned, Kansas, who passed away on July 28, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lindley Meeker and Bertha Mary Hewson Meeker; his brothers, Leo Alton and Carl Alton (Tony); and his grandson Damon Meeker.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Sorensen Meeker of Homer Alaska; and his sons, Douglas (Melanie) of Homer Alaska and Larry (Cindy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
