He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Nicklie and Tammany Nicklie; his brothers, Andrew, Lingo, Homer, Tracy and Harold Nicklie; his niece Kimberly Ewan; and his nephews, Joseph, Daniel, William Nicklie (Billy) and Kenneth Ewan.
He is survived by: his sisters, Elsie Nicklie, Eleanor Dementi and Margie Ewan; his nieces and nephews, Brenda Rebne, Rhoda Brown, Paula Nicklie, Tammany George, Lisa, Helen Christiansen, Linda Towne, Lingo Nicklie Jr., Gilbert Dementi Jr., Darrel Dementi, Harold Nicklie (Frankie), Robert Nicklie (Bobby) and Michael Ewan; and his cousins, David Nicklie, Violet Jamison, Jane Nicholas, Louise Mayo and Helga Wiebe.
