He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur A. Stitzer and Gretchen Francis Stitzer (Seemann); his significant other Debie; and his close friend Claude Morris. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy of Washington; his brother David W. Stitzer of Boscobel; his niece Wendi Stitzer (Craig Kovars) of Boscobel; his nephews, Scott Stitzer (Brooke Zimpel) of Boscobel, Mike Stitzer of Boscobel and Nick Stitzer (Erika) of Blue River; and his close friends, Jack and Kathy Dunlap of Palmer, Alaska..
