She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Rothwell Willbur and Sharon Joy Rude. She is survived by: her husband William J. Simpson; her children, Keain R. Dillon (Victor), Cason J. (Courtney), Richard J. and Erin R; her grandchildren, Blain, Blake, Zoey, Kyran, Archor, Skarlit, James, Elliana and Olivia; and her siblings, Kevin R. Willbur (Vynette), Cheryl R. Combs (Michael), Julie L. Sealy (Curtis) and Eric R. Willbur (Emmy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
