With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James C. Hayes (Fairbanks, Alaska), born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on June 9, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Caustella Hayes and Juanita Hayes (Metoyer); his wife Chris Hayes of Fairbanks; his daughter LaNene Scott; his son-in-law Michael Scott; his granddaughter Courtney Pruitt; his great grandchild Devin Robinson Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; his son James L. Hayes; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Joy and Timothy Hayes of Annapolis, Maryland. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Diabetes Association of Alaska.
