It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helene Elizabeth Erna Lerma (Fairbanks, Alaska), who passed away on February 1, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Dermuehl and Emilie Dermuehl; her sisters, Emmy and Olga; her husband Tirso Lerma; and her brother-in-law Manuel Lopez.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gertrud Lopez (Fairbanks), Ludwig Dermuehl and Alfred Dermuehl (Germany); her nephew Ronald Lopez; and her nieces, Gabriele Larry (Bill Larry), Ingrid Schwegler (Germany), Tamara Larry, Natasha Larry, Tara Larry and Teresa Larry.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to J. Michael Carrol Cancer Center, "In Memory of Helene Lerma." She is survived by her sister, Gertrud Lopez (Fairbanks); brothers, Ludwig Dermuehl and Alfred Dermuehl (Germany); nephew, Ronald Lopez; nieces, Gabriele Larry and her husband, Bill Larry (Fairbanks); Ingrid Schwegler (Germany), great-nieces, Tamara Larry, Natasha Larry, Tara Larry and Teresa Larry; and many more great-nieces and nephews.
